Stripe Alerts ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome extension that monitors your Stripe account and sends you smart alerts. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we never do.
Stripe API Key: Your Stripe API key is stored locally in Chrome's secure storage on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers.
Email Address: When you purchase a Pro license, your email address is collected by Stripe for payment processing and by us to deliver your license key.
License Key: Your license key is stored locally in Chrome's secure storage and verified against our server to confirm it is valid.
Usage Data: We track how many checks you perform per day locally on your device to enforce free tier limits. This data never leaves your browser.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your Stripe transaction data, customer data, payment details, or any financial information. All Stripe data is fetched directly from Stripe's API to your browser and never passes through our servers.
Your email is used solely to deliver your license key after purchase and to contact you about your subscription if needed. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
Your license key is used to verify your Pro subscription status. Verification requests are sent to our server at stripe-alerts-backend-v3.vercel.app.

Vercel: Hosting for our backend API.
Resend: Email delivery for license keys.
Your Stripe API key is stored exclusively in Chrome's local storage on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. License data is stored in a secured database with restricted access.
License data is retained for as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days and then deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Stripe Alerts is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the extension.
